The smiles I found
on faces around
That glint in the eye
like a star in the sky
The whys, the whens
The hows and the thens……
The voices crystal clear
Unspoilt by fear
The rise after a fall
like it was nothing at all
The dainty hand
dotted by sand……
Taught me how to live-
to love, laugh and forgive.

P.S- Working as a teacher has been one of the most enriching
experiences in my life. To all my children who have taught me a lesson or two.
